  La Charité-sur-Loire, musée municipal

The museum was set up in 1954 by V. Gautron du Coudray based on his own collections, and over the years has been added to with sculptures by Alfredo Pina, an assistant to Rodin, decorative objects from the period 1880-1930, the tools of a file cutter, of whom there were many in the canton in the 19th century, and above all archeological items from the great Cluny priory of La Charité (11th-16thcenturies).

Tournus, Hôtel Dieu - Musée Greuze
The Hospital & Greuze Museum bring together on the site of the town's former hospital, a hospital built between the 17th and 19th centuries and decommissioned in 1982, a hospital museum and the Greuze Museum, the Fine Arts Museum of the town of Tournus.

Varzy, Musée Auguste Grasset
This museum is a true collection of curiosities, with items from Mesopotamia, Egypt and Oceania, paintings, ceramics and objets d'art. A working music room lets you see and hear some twenty curious instruments from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Avallon, Musée de l'Avallonnais
Founded in 1862 the museum was installed in the former 17th century college.
Known for its collections of mineralogy, paleontology and its rich archeological material, the Avallon Museum is changing in order to exhibit collections brought together by various the art lovers and artists who created it, and to accept new gifts.
In particular it offers the public works of the painter Georges Rouault, of the goldsmith Jean Després, and of the sculptor Pierre Vigoureux.

Beaune, Musée des Beaux-Arts
Collections from the 12th century to the start of the 20th. Strong points: Flemish and Dutch painting of the 16th and 17th centuries; as well as the works of Michaud and Ziem, 19th century artists born in Beaune. The latter enjoyed an international career as an orientalist painter.

Chalon-sur-Saône, Musée Vivant Denon
The Denon Museum in Chalon-sur-Saône owes its name to a man from Chalon, Dominique-Vivant Denon, draughtsman, engraver, writer, traveller, diplomat, first Director of the Louvre and "Napoleon 1st's Minister of Culture".

Mâcon, Musée des Ursulines
Set in a 17th century building, the museum of the Ursulines develops regional archeology and ethnography collections. The Fine Arts section is particularly rich in paintings from the 16th to the 20th century.

Alise-Sainte-Reine, Musée Alesia
The Alesia Museum was laid out by the Semur Society of Sciences in 1910 and holds mementos of the Siege of 52 BC, as well as items of architecture, many sculptures and a very rich collection of objects from daily life found in the excavations of the Gallic-Roman town. MUSEUM CLOSED. The new Alesia Museum-cum-Park Archeological Museum will open to the public in 2011.
