Created by Paul Huillard, a specialist in Yonne faience, who bequeathed it to the town, the museum shows a reconstruction of a middle class interior from the end of the 18th century, a collection of Burgundy sculptures from the 12th to 16th centuries, and an enormous collection of faience from the Auxerre region (18th and 19th centuries) and of Puisaye stoneware.
