Semur-en-Auxois, musée municipal
The museum of Semur-en-Auxois was created in 1834 and entirely renovated 10 years ago. It owes its originality to the 19th century museum layout that has happily been preserved, which shows the collections off to particular advantage.

The museum's collections were put together throughout the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th: archeology, geology, natural history, Fine Arts (sculptures and paintings from the 15th to 19th centuries), give the place its diversity.

Educational Department
Led by a guide, the educational department offers general tours and ones by subject of the collections, using play booklets and educational kits as well as various artistic discovery workshops.
The museum shop sells various post cards and works (exhibition catalogues, museum guides) related to the collections and the Semur heritage.
Museum workshop (by reservation)
Led by the sculptor Marie-Christine Cadiau, the workshop takes children and adults for beginners and more advanced courses in technique of drawing, painting and sculpture.
